OUR BELIEFS

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

Mark 11:24 (NIV)

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant and infallible word of God. It consists of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament and it is the final authority for all Christian faith and practice.

GOD

We believe in one living and true God who is the creator and sustainer of all things. He exists in three equal persons: Father, Son , and Holy Spirit.

THE FATHER

We believe God the Father has laid a plan for the ages and is working all things together to fulfill that plan. The primary relationship of God to His people is one of fatherhood, intimacy and care. The father sent His son to die on the cross for the redemption of mankind.

THE SON

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, true man and true God in His nature. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, death for us on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and glorious return. He serves as high priest and advocate for His people.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the absolute deity and person of the Holy Spirit. The ministry of the Holy Spirit includes; indwelling, empowering, filling, baptizing into the body, regeneration, sealing, sanctification and giving of gifts.

HUMANITY

We believe that man and woman were created in the image of God to rule the earth and enjoy fellowship with God. Man was originally created perfect and only fell into sin, thus marring the intended purpose of God which can only be regained through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God's grace for the redemption of sin. Because humans are incapable of extricating themselves and without hope of heaven apart from a new birth, God sent His Son to die on the cross for our sins, so that we may be reconciled to God and enjoy His presence for all eternity.

THE CHURCH

We believe that the church is a community of believers who are united together as a body with Christ being the head for the purpose of worship, mutual edification, caring, evangelism, instruction, and social action. The church practices two ordinances namely: the Lord's Supper and Baptism.

THE FUTURE THINGS

We believe in the personal and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ who will judge both the living and the dead. The righteous will be ushered into eternal life, while the unrighteous will be ushered into eternal death. MARANATHA Lord Jesus!
